It was on the 2nd May and I landed on Towyn Beach. Probably the most scenic flight I've ever had. For anyone else that comes this way, I landed into wind heading WNW on the beach so there's some convergence that sets up with the sea breeze that I missed. I think the best route from Colwyn would be to follow the line of hills and A55 to St Asaph. After that its anybody's guess! Mal very kindly provided the retrieve.
